On Thursday 5th September, 2024, the United Nations Global Compact Network held its SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals Solutions Showcase at the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, University of Ghana.
For 4 months, our Young Professionals from Consolidated Bank Ghana, Blay & Associates, Ecobank Ghana PLC, Innova DDB and Ghana Manganese Company Limited worked on challenges specific to their company with the goal of designing more sustainable business models, initiatives and products that will advance the company’s sustainability efforts
This SDG Innovators Accelerator for Young Professionals Solutions Showcase aimed to encourage SDG innovation through bottom-up approaches with the aim of developing breakthrough solutions that have both social and market value.
It also aimed at developing a new generation of sustainable business leaders who take initiative within their organizations to drive sustainability within their companies. This platform provided them with an opportunity to exhibit their solutions and receive valuable feedback and insights.
